 I am Borja Ortuzar.

In 2012, I earned my degree in Film Direction and Screenwriting from Bande à Part Film School (BAP) in Barcelona, where I had the opportunity to learn from top Spanish cinematographers.

During that time, I gained experience working on professional film shoots and began my career as a boom operator and sound recordist. My passion for learning and creating led me to develop skills as a camera operator, photographer, and editor.

In 2015, I moved to Paris to work as a filmmaker. I collaborated with associations such as 1000 Visages and Led by Her, which support underprivileged youth and women rebuilding their lives. Simultaneously, I created video content for local fashion brands like Laia Varela Joyas, Etc by Etcetera, Karl Lagerfeld, and Marithé+François Girbaud.

In early 2018, I joined the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as a Video and Multimedia Coordinator in the Public Affairs and Communications Directorate. I was responsible for recording and editing events, interviews, and podcasts, coordinating TV studio recordings, and producing multimedia content for social media and the web.

From March 2021 to March 2022, I worked remotely as a Content Editor for Domestika’s UK team, editing courses in English and French featuring artists and creative professionals.

Since 2024, I have been working as a camera operator and video editor for Estiko, handling the main camera for ETB2’s A Bocados TV program and managing editing and post-production for various projects (including work for Martín Berasategui, David de Jorge, Alejandro, Canal Europa...)

With experience across all audiovisual production departments, I am a versatile and detail-oriented professional committed to delivering high-quality work. I am available for travel and remote editing or post-production projects.

Fluent in Spanish and French, with a professional level of English, I am passionate about audiovisual culture and music and enjoy collaborating with new people to continue learning and growing.
